What is the reluctant dragon & mr. toad show?

The Reluctant Dragon & Mr. Toad Show is a live-action musical combining two classic stories from British literature – Kenneth Grahame’s The Wind in the Willows and the children’s book The Reluctant Dragon by Kenneth Grahame. The show was produced by Disneyland for their stage production in 1987 as part of their 30th anniversary celebration. The show’s plot follows the misadventures of Mr. Toad, who gets himself into trouble with the law, and the unlikely friendship between a dragon who doesn't want to fight and a young girl who teaches him the value of bravery.

The production features live actors, puppet characters, and original songs. It was directed by Farruco Castroman, with music composed by Stephen Lawrence. The show was performed at Disneyland’s Fantasyland Theater in California, and later replaced by a new production, Mickey and the Magical Map, in 2013. The Reluctant Dragon & Mr. Toad Show was also adapted into a film by Walt Disney Pictures in 1941, which combined both stories as well.
